Nahum Schutz at work
Nahum Schutz photographer
I am still trying to understand the world , and bring it through my camera to a new reality.
The more I work and try, the more I find new horizons.
Nahum Schutz is an Architect based in Zichron Yaakov - Israel since 1968.
He studied photgraphy in 1977 with the great teacher Yankale Bornstein.
Parallel to his architectural profession, he developed his art, combined with some teaching in the Democratic School of Zichron Yaakov.

Born 24-11-1938 in Montevideo - Uruguay.
Established in Israel in 1968.

Exhibitions:
  • 1978 - Group exhibition in the Tel Aviv Art Museum, organized by the Israely Photographers Association. He got the gold and silver medal in the colour section, and the silver medal in the black and white section.
  • March 1978 - First Solo exhibition - "Two years of searching 1978-1980" in the OLEI Gallery in Tel Aviv.
  • 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 - Yearly Group Exhibitions of Uruguayan Artists organized, by the uruguayan Embassy.
  • April 2008 - Solo Exhibition "Painting with light" in the Kanireh Gallery in Zichron Yaakov.
  • January 2015 - Solo Exhibition "Urbania" in The Architects Gallery in Jaffa.
  • July 2017 - Solo Exhibition "Deconstructions" in the ArtMabat Gallery in Kfar Saba. 
  • December 2017 - Group Photography Exhibition : "Painting with light" again in the ArtMabat Gallery in Kfar Saba. 
  • April 2018 -Group Exhibition "Home" in the Ben Ami Gallery in Tel Aviv.
  • December 2019 - Gropup Exhibition "Color Ecstasy" in the Air Force Home, Hertzlia.
  • February 2020 - Group Exhibition "Flashback" in the Lake Gallery, Raanana.
  • April 2021 - Solo Exhibition "Geometric Layers" in my Virtual Gallery.
